Testing for Heart-Related Conditions
Trios Health offers a broad range of tools to help get to the bottom of your heart-related symptoms. We use any combination of assessments needed to diagnose or rule out heart problems. Our caring physicians then customize a course of treatment designed to best meet your individual needs.
Cardiac assessments performed at Trios include:
- Cardiac catheterization—a procedure involving the insertion of a thin, flexible tube into blood vessels for precise diagnostic imaging and certain treatments
- Cardiac stress tests—measure the heart's response to physical exertion in a monitored environment
- Echocardiogram—uses sound waves to create a moving picture of the heart
- Electrocardiogram (EKG)—checks for problems with the heart's electrical activity
- Nuclear medicine stress tests—measure blood flow to the heart, both at rest and during stress
- Peripheral vascular angiography—a procedure similar to cardiac catheterization, involving insertion of a thin, flexible tube into the blood vessels in the arms and legs to diagnose and treat certain diseases that relate to heart health.
